"Women of Malaysia", yes, a phrase that I want all the people around the world to remember.
Being as young as I am now, many may think that I'm too naive and empty to carry this brand forward.
Trust me, I have the mind of a wise lady, and a heart of a young child.
Throughout my years swimming in the ocean of the entertainment world, I've been observing and gaining more than a handful of knowledge and experiences from the people around me. I'm still learning, and I'm still progressing.
Writing has been my true passion since I was a kid. To be exact, I began to develop a strong love towards writing from the moment I read the first Harry Potter book when I was 11! I then started writing fan-fictional stories and my schoolmates would be my loyal readers!
As I grow wiser in time, I know what my heart wants, that is to write for the women.
I admire women, I admire what God has given to women - beauty, strength, patience and love. It all started with just a personal blog, never knew I would end up doing this for real - for the women in Malaysia!
Growing up in Malaysia, it is sad to say that the women are not given enough opportunity, equality and privilege as to what men are receiving. I would like to change that, not in a way that women should empower men, but in a way that we should be treated with equal respect and acknowledgement. I don't only want respect from the men, even the women should start treating themselves and other women with respect. I've seen so many jealousies and insecurities coming out from the women. Stop! Throw away all those fears and envious attitudes and start building yourselves up.
Throw away that stereotypical mindset of beauty as there is no exact definition of beauty. And stop comparing what God has given us.
Having blissfully raised in Malaysia with the most lovable parents in the world, I thank Allah for giving me endless amount of knowledge, love and experiences from the people He surrounds me with. Having a caring and supportive companion is another bonus gift in my life right now, so to you Sayang, thank you for being my lovely confidant :)
Nurul and Nick, aaaahhh...words just can't describe how lucky and blessed I am to have met both of you, you guys are my backbone, my energy. Women of Malaysia wouldn't be here without both of you. I love you both!
I hope through Women of Malaysia,
every woman today will have at least the slightest amount of hope in achieving her dreams. And to have everyone showing more respect towards all the women in Malaysia,
and the whole world.
